Best NYC Sports Bars for Your Fantasy Football Draft 2017

Get ready New York City It is just about that time again as NFL Training Camps get started and the league once again chases Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. But Fantasy Football is about picking players and digging deep to find that hidden gem or breakout star (selecting Matty "Ice" Ryan and Travis Kelce in the middle rounds drove my first championship in over 20 years).  As always Draft Day is the key to a winning season and the preparation starts now.  As does picking the right sports bar in NYC to host the live draft. Here are our first round selections with special Fantasy Draft Packages:

 

SideBar (Union Square) at $40: Three hours of Bud Light open bar with SideBar wings at $40/person. Premium versions at $55 and $70 include cocktails and refilled appetizers.   

 

40/40 Club (Chelsea) at $65: Three hours of standard open bar with replenished appetizers in a luxurious private room for the group at $65/Person.

 

Tonic East (Murray Hill) at $55: Three hours of standard open bar with a reserved table on one of the venues three floors at $55/person.

 

Duke's (Upper East Side) at $35: Two hours of draft beer and well cocktails open bar with appetizers at $35/Person

 

Atwood Kitchen & Bar (Midtown East) at $30: One beer bucket with five bottles and a platter of 20 wings for each person at this high-end gastropub.

 

AWOL (Gramercy) at $40:  The "Six Pack" Fantasy Draft package includes six beers each and a reserved table at $40/person.

 

Deweys Pub (Midtown West) at $40:  Three hours of Bud Light open bar for $40/person. Premium options range to $70/person with replenished appetizers and top shelf cocktails.

 

Sweetwater Social (Nolita) at $40-$50:  Two or three hours of beer open bar with a basket of wings per person.

 

Blind Pig (East Village) at $45/person:  Two hours of unlimited Bud Light or Shock Top drafts with shared appetizers.

 

Turtle Bay (Midtown East) at $10:  Four hours of half priced domestic draft beers and appetizers at $10/person.
