Founded in 2002 by Jam Master Jay of Run DMC, Scratch DJ Academy is located in the East Village and combines the feeling of an art loft with a dance club. The space consists of high ceilings, soft lighting, dynamic art installations, and 17 full turntable DJ set-ups. A private DJ can play privately for your group creating a personalized club-like experience tailored to your style and music tastes. Events include opportunities for guests to learn Djing and compete for prizes. The staff can coordinate, receive, and set up your food and drink deliveries to ensure your party is perfectly executed.
