NiteTables has arrived! What better way to let everyone know than by throwing one of the most memorable events of Summer 2011?
The music was loud, the crowd was dancing, and the drinks were flowing at NYC hotspot Hudson Terrace's rooftop lounge, where we celebrated our launch with friends, family, partners and patrons. Couldn't be there with us on August 10? Our apologies: This highlight reel will show you what you missed. If you were on hand, roll video . . . (Don't worry—we didn't embarrass anyone!).
Sipping signature cocktails made with spirits from sponsors Tequila Avion and Voli Light Vodkas, the good-looking crowd was treated to tunes by DJ Riddler and performances from Joe Budden and Kat DeLuna. The latter looked like a Latina live-action Betty Boop while singing "Whine Up" and her banging new club hit "Drop It Low." Among the more than 500 revellers: NiteTables fan KTU's Paul "Cubby" Bryant.
Also enjoying the free sushi and gratis bottle service (like, we said, it was a HOT party!) were our friends from Clear Channel, People.com, Us Weekly, BET and Sony Music. And recession be damed, everyone went home with goody-bag gifts, courtesy of designer Zara Terez, Tequila Avion, and Sheets! Energy Strips — not to mention the fancy NiteTables shot glass and bottle opener, so you can party on at your own convenience!
Also, a huge thank you to our purple carpet host, Melissa Gonzalez from Lion'esque Media and Baked Goodes NYC for creating one of the coolest cakes we've ever seen. Can't wait to see what you make us for our first birthday!
