Talk about muy caliente: When LQ moved from uptown Manhattan to its new home beneath the Radisson Hotel on Lexington Avenue at East 48th Street, the venue also known as Latin Quarter quickly established itself as a monster Midtown mega-club. Indeed, despite its cavernous, 15,000-square-foot size that can accommodate up to a thousand revelers, LQ almost always has a line out front — even in the early hours of the morning. Blending Asian and Latin decor, this classy, grown-up establishment has no shortage of VIP tables and bar areas. As expected, LQ draws a Latin-loving crowd who take over the sunken dance floor, moving to a mix of salsa, merengue, reggaeton, hip-hop and more.
